Here’s a touching tale to start your day off better than that Sausage McGriddle:
Once upon a time there was a gray cloud. He was a fat cloud, so fat that he lumbered through the sky. He was also a lumpy cloud, which made him look chunkier than he should. He was a tall cloud, much taller than all the other clouds, which only made it easier for him to see everyone making fun of him.
No matter how hard he tried to chase the other clouds, he could never keep up because he was too slow. So, he always stood alone. Often times, he would think about how lonely he was, so he cried. Sometimes he cried all day, other times he cried all night.
One day, he decided not to feel sorry for himself anymore. He was a sad, lonely cloud and he accepted his poor existence. THE END. Just kidding.
When he stopped pitying himself, his crying turned to sobs, and his sobs to whimpers. Subtle tears began to fall from his cloudy eyes, and he sank below the sky. He sank lower and lower until his belly hit the ground.
Then, blue flowers and red flowers rushed to greet him. Green grass and tall trees rejoiced to see the grey cloud so close to their homes. All of his tears had brought forth new life. And as he hovered close to the earth, he gave it a big hug, and the Earth hugged him back.
THE END
